Closing Services

Nationwide’s team takes possession of a loan file once it is approved by underwriting and facilitates a smooth path to the funding department. Files are transmitted via a pre-defined file delivery method that is set up during onboarding.

We assign each loan file a closer who reviews the file to ensure completeness and accuracy of all documents. Any missing documents or information are immediately requested.

After a file has been reviewed, we conduct an in-depth review of title and easements. We then create closing instructions to send to the settlement agent for HUD-1 reconciliation and approval.

Our dedicated closers are able to reduce turn times, with an emphasis on process management and transparency.
