FHA
The Federal Housing Administration (FHA), an agency of the federal government, insures private loans that are issued for new and existing housing, and loans that are approved for home repairs. Created by congress in 1934, the FHA became part of the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of Housing (HUD) in 1965. Today the mission of the FHA includes helping borrowers get amounts they qualify for, and assisting lenders by reducing their risk in issuing loans.

The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) is the national association representing the real estate finance industry. They promote fair and ethical lending practices and foster professional excellence among real estate finance employees through a wide range of educational programs and a variety of publications.
NAMP
As the largest online community for mortgage processors, the National Association of Mortgage Processors (NAMP) is known throughout the mortgage processing industry as the voice of today's mortgage processor. NAMP is dedicated to assisting contract loan processors as well as in-house mortgage loan processors, in all aspects of their business.
VA
